Candle wax (paraffin or soy) isn't recyclable — general waste. The containers are: freeze the jar to pop out remaining wax, wash it, then glass jars go in glass recycling and metal tins with metals. Wicks and trimmings: general waste.

Tips

  • Freezing makes stub removal easy
  • Melt stubs together into new candles with a wick kit
