Recycle.co.uk is a free reference resource. You may link to pages and quote limited extracts with clear attribution. Do not reproduce the service or substantial parts of its editorial content as your own.
Accuracy and local variation
Guidance is compiled from official and specialist sources, but recycling services vary by address and change over time. A council or scheme operator remains the final source for collection days, accepted materials, bookings, charges, access restrictions and hazardous-waste instructions.
Centre records and opening information can become outdated. Check the linked operator or council information before travelling.
Data licensing
Council and recycling-rate data includes public sector information used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Recycling-centre locations include © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence. Any separate bulk re-use must comply with the relevant source licence and attribution requirements.
Automated access
Reasonable indexing and citation are permitted. Do not send requests that impair the service, bypass controls, harvest personal data or republish the site wholesale. Machine-readable routes are provided at sitemap.xml and llms.txt.
Liability
The service is provided without a guarantee that every record is complete, current or suitable for a particular situation. For hazardous, clinical, commercial or regulated waste, use the relevant authority or licensed operator rather than relying only on a general household guide.
