Aluminium and plastic pods can't be sorted from normal recycling, but Podback — the industry scheme run by Nespresso, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Tassimo and others — recycles them: kerbside collection in some councils, drop-off points and freepost bags elsewhere. Some councils now accept pods kerbside via Podback partnerships.
