Can you recycle televisions and monitors?
TVs and monitors are WEEE and go to the display/screens area at your household waste recycling centre — never in bins, and old CRT sets contain leaded glass that needs special handling. Retailers must offer take-back when they deliver a new TV (often for a small fee, sometimes free). Working sets can be donated to charities that PAT-test, or offered locally.
