EA launches consultation on new waste motor vehicle permit rules
The Environment Agency has opened a consultation on a new standard rules permit for the storage, depollution and dismantling of waste motor vehicles. The proposed SR2025 No 8 permit would replace SR2015 No 13 and SR2008 No 20 and set out common technical and fire risk standards for ATFs. The consultation closes on 10 March 2026.
