Can you recycle sealant tubes & diy consumables?

Part-used sealant and adhesive cartridges are contaminated packaging — general waste. Fully cured leftover silicone is inert general waste too. Empty solvent containers should be left open to air before binning; anything with liquid solvent goes to the recycling centre's hazardous area.
