Can you recycle laptops and tablets?

Laptops and tablets are WEEE with lithium batteries — never in any household bin. Working machines: trade in, sell, or donate to digital-inclusion charities who refurbish them for people without computers. Dead ones go to the small-electricals area at your recycling centre, or use retailer take-back (Currys accepts old tech even if you bought nothing). Securely wipe or remove the drive first.
