Can you recycle baby food jars?
Glass baby-food jars are standard container glass and go in kerbside glass recycling once rinsed. The metal twist lids are recyclable too — pop them loosely back on or in with metal cans depending on your council. The jars are also popular for reuse: spice storage, craft paint pots and freezer portions.
Tips
- Rinse and reuse for spices or baby-portion freezing
- Lids loosely back on so they aren't lost in sorting
