Can you recycle cardboard boxes?

Corrugated and plain cardboard boxes are accepted in every UK kerbside recycling collection. Flatten them so they fit in your bin and remove excessive plastic tape, polystyrene inserts and plastic packing pillows. Very large amounts (house moves, big deliveries) can be taken to a household waste recycling centre if they will not fit in your bin. Wet or food-soaked cardboard should go in general waste.

• Keep cardboard dry — soggy card can be rejected
