Can you recycle pyrex and oven-proof glass dishes?

Pyrex and other borosilicate/toughened ovenware is heat-treated so it melts at a much higher temperature than container glass; even a small amount ruins a batch of recycled bottles. It must never go in glass recycling or bottle banks. Donate usable dishes; wrap and bin broken ones in general waste.
